I always love getting home from school. It is like having a weight on your back and then taking it off again but then your back starts aching. When you've got home and you've relaxed and adjusted, you start to get bored. Very bored. It's only when you do the fun things like going to play a sport or going shopping in town or meeting up with a friend that you can forget thet you have still got ages to go in this period of time. If you can't get active then you will slowly turn into a lazy person who won't get active at all.
There were a few days in my half term that made me feel like I was going to die of boredom. However, one little activity will go a long way! Such as going into Norwich with my friends, Max and Christian who both went to my old school, Town Close House. We went to see a film at the cinema and got sent to the back of the que for so called 'pushing in' and then went around the city for an hour. We were kicked out of the designer clothing company 'Hollister' for using up the tester fragrances. You could say it was a bit hectic. And as if things could have got any more scary, a bunch of teenagers came up to us in HMV and started sarcastically flirting with us. Max sarcastically shouted out 'Stranger Danger' and that was that. They were out of the shop before you could have said 'Stranger Danger' again. We then both bid Christian farewell (as he goes to a termly boarding school up in Yorksire and we won't see him for a while) and went home with our parents having missed the bus!
My family having forced me to go, went to the play that my old school was putting on as I still know people who go there. The play was called 'Dream On', a modern version of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' by Shakespeare. There was one girl who had a main part who had the most screachy voice I've ever heard! Anyway, overall it was very good but the main purpose I had gone was to see some old friends who carried on.
We also went to London (My mum, my sister and myself) to meet up with my sister, Marina's Godmother who lives there. We went to the Natural History Museum which was boring, uninteresting and tiresome. Luckily we weren't in ther for too long and we would go to Harrods which was the main reason I wanted to go.
Overall the Half term was really fun for me and I really enjoyed it!
